Compass Reversed Polarity

Speaking with one of our micro navigation experts, Martin Rooney, on the 3+ walk yesterday he told me that he has had 5 walkers whose compasses had reversed polarity in the recent past. The main culprit for this is having the compass next to a mobile phone in the rucksack.

Photos & Summary - Liam Johnston.   Patrick Pierce led a dozen Ramblers on his, by now, annual Glencoaghan Horseshoe walk in the Connemara Bens on the 12th September.  The walk started at Benlettery and involved five other summits in the Bens
