Thursday 3+ in the Cooleys with Martin Rooney. Started from Carlingford to Eagles Rock- Ravens Rock- Foxes Rock back to Carlingford. Stats are slightly shy due to late GPS switch on. Great hike in a magnificent location with spectacular views of Dundalk Bay, Carlingford Loug

Thursday 3+ on Derrybawn with leader Anne Carson

Thursday 3+s on Derrybawn skilfully led by Anne Carson. The wind & rain was much less than the various weather forecasts suggested.  

Thursday 4s visit Art O’Neill

You will have read in the Rambler that the Art O'Neill plaque was recently re-engraved due to significant erosion. The Thursday 4s decided to check the quality of the work while hiking in tough conditions on the 29th June 2017.  

Thursday 3+ brave the elements despite poor forecast

Thursday 3+ s braved the poor forecast and were rewarded with a terrific hike led by stalwart Martin Rooney taking in parts of the Avonmore Way. Martin even had snoozing conditions on Trooperstown Hill. Harry says they only had a few light showers. He didn't mention the gale
