Inspired by Michael’s article in the Irish Times Magazine I did the walk with my daughter from the Glencree Reconciliation Centre on a bright crisp day with little or no wind. Underfoot conditions were a mixture of boggy, icy, wet with a little bit of snow. Reasonable track most of the way with the exception of the main climb at the bottom of the upper lough which was over rough ground, but was quite easy going albeit steep.
