Remembrance Wood- maintenance session, 29 April 2016, am

Our wood, on the side of Derrybawn Mountain, is now entering its third year from completion of planting. Happily it is doing well, and the saplings are growing apace.
Maintenance comprises clearing encroaching high grass, and repelling ferns if necessary.
Our next maintenance session will be on Friday 29th April meeting in the Wicklow Heather at 9.30am, and aiming to finish in the Wood by 12.30pm. Please bring boots, gardening gloves and weather protection.
Please join us, and be part of this initiative to establish a hectare of native woodland in Wicklow Nation Park. All members are welcome.
