Our first work day in Wicklow this year will be SUNDAY 28th February 2016 in Glendalough. If you are a regular volunteer we are looking forward to seeing you out again. If you have recently joined our mailing list why not come along and give it a try? We will be starting a new project repairing a footbridge on the white route which is no longer fit for purpose when the river is in full spate. If you can’t make the next work day, the dates for 2016 work days for Wicklow and the South-East are listed below. Volunteers must be over eighteen years of age.

DIRECTIONS:
Meet the Visitor Centre car park in Glendalough for car pooling at 10.30am sharp.
Come prepared for a day in the hills, be prepared for all weathers, for safety and comfort wear appropriate footwear. A pack lunch is advisable including a hot drink. A change of clothes is recommended for the homeward journey. For newcomers wearing denim is not a good idea. Bring gardening gloves if you have them otherwise they will be supplied.
Mountain Meitheal will provide tools. Why not bring a friend? – new comers are always welcome.
