Great hike led by Michael O’Neill in the Cooley Mountains attracted 23 hikers from grades 3+ and 2. John and Aidan managed to save a young sheep by pulling it out of a bog hole. Their thanks? Well they almost looked like the sheep afterward and the rest of the hikers kept their distance. The leader experimented with splitting the group into faster and normal and it worked a treat for everybody. Maybe something for the future? Thanks to Barry Condon for the title.
