3+s started at Barravore Car Park, leaving Dominic on car security duty, and headed up Fraughan Rock Glen and along the ridge to Cannow (855M). From there continued the long haul up to Lugnaquilla (925m). The return was down via Clohernagh and the steep drop to Arts Lough. The drop from Arts Lough handrailing Bolenaskea Forest was very steep and slippery resulting in a few slips and slides. The track back down to the car park was a welcome relief. Despite being a short walk at 14km, it was an energy sapping slog up and down (personally speaking) The altitude gain was 829m in 4 hours 45 minutes.
